Physicians Participating in ABMS MOC Share Their Stories
CHICAGO, Ill. – June 30, 2010 – Physicians certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Board have shared their experiences with ABMS Maintenance of Certification®. Additional Reflection Stories have been added to the ABMS Web site at http://www.abms.org/Maintenance_of_Certification/reflections_on_MOC.aspx.
The ABMS MOC Reflection Stories include a review of the physicians’ careers, highlighting their experiences with MOC and the impact of being enrolled in the program from their specialty board. ABMS has interviewed specialists from many of its Member Boards, including American Board of Dermatology, American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Nuclear Medicine, American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Board of Plastic Surgery, American Board of Radiology and American Board of Thoracic Surgery. The additional stories now available are from the American Board of Dermatology, American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Neurological Surgery and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
